This mod allows you to avoid the night falling (or sun rising) in few seconds when you set a high "serverNightTimeAcceleration" in your serverDZ.cfg

This behaviour is because the game consider it is night time as soon as the sun is behind the horizon even if the light is still bright.

The mod "cuts" a part of the night.
For example you can set it to jump from 22:00 to 03:00.

This allow you to keep a small value in the "serverNightTimeAcceleration" of your serverDZ.cfg so you will have long sunsets and sunrises but not long nights.

The down side is that if there is no clouds players can see the moon and stars teleporting when the cut occurs.

As all other mods :

• Subscribe to the mod in the workshop.
  
• Copy the @LongerSunriseAndSunset folder from your !Workshop client folder to your server root folder.
  
• Copy the Liven.bikey file to the server keys folder.
  
• Add "-mod=@LongerSunriseAndSunset" in your .bat server launching file

("-mod=@LongerSunriseAndSunset;@OtherMod" if you have other mods to load).
Note that this mod has to be loaded server and client side.

Lower the "serverNightTimeAcceleration" value in your serverDZ.cfg because you don’t need big acceleration anymore to have short nights.

The first time you launch the server, the mod will create a folder named « LongerSunriseAndSunset_Profile » in your server profile folder (where your scriptxxxx.log are created).

In this folder, update the Admins.txt with your SteamID.

In LongerSunriseAndSunset_Tweaks.xml set the part of the night and day you want to cut.

When your modifications are done and saved you can apply them directly ingame by pressing the numpad1 refresh key (or restart the server).

Is it possible add a cut during daytime, so you can just play during sunset and sunrise if you want.

The values have to be set in 24h format (for example: 22:50 not 10:50pm)

By default the day is not cut and the night is cut from 22:00 to 03:00.

These value only cut the dark part of the night even if you play a summer date but if your server is set to a winter date maybe you can cut a larger part of the night.

You CAN use, modify, repack the mod as you need.
Do not simply redistribute it with another name and don't forget credits
