Note : If you were to use the Butterfly knife one for Machete and one for Knife, they will conflict, aka duplicate files, no big deal, will not cause much problem, since the main conflict parts are the texture and sound both duplicate itself anyways.


12/25/21 : For Local Server or Single Player users, the speed of the Knife's attack speed has a delay. My source is not so good. I sincerely apologize. It's a pity that I am unable to share the sensation this knife can bring to all of us. Therefore I cannot find a fix at the time. Since currently there are no available fixes out there.


4/11/23 : Updated knife's attack speed, so no more swing delayed animation anymore. Although the knife is a bit shaky, since one didn't mind it, so I updated it anyway.


4/16/23 : Updated knife's animation. Less shaky, barely noticeable.


12/29/23 : Due certain other mod conflict with axe_break, I've made more different versions of this, to avoid conflict issues, this is the best I can do.


12/2/25 :

"axe_break.wav" is a sound file originally made for the Axe, like back when melee weapons had durability feature.
"knife_deploy.wav" is widely used in other melee weapons like Katana, Machete, other than just the Knife.

Long story short, someone discovered "axe_break.wav" can be used as a deploy sound for Knife. Therefore, chances of using "axe_break.wav" and still get conflict problems is really rare, compared the chances of conflict with "knife_deploy.wav" which is very likely.

12/25/21 : 对于本地服务器或单人游戏使用者们，感觉小刀攻击速度变的有点迟钝。因为我使用的材料不好。我真诚的道歉。 我无法样大家感觉到这把小刀为我带来的真时游戏手感。目前我无法找到修复的方法，由于目前暂时还没有专门给蝴蝶小刀的修复。


4/11/23 : 更新了小刀的攻速，不会像以前那么慢。但是小刀会有一点抖，刚问了一位 他说他不介意，我就更新了。


4/16/23 : 更新了小刀的动画/模型，已经没那么抖了，也没那么明显。


12/29/23 : 有使用者发现武器枪的拿出声与这个有冲突，所以就又发了好几个版本出来，这样其他发生有和这个mod冲突的文件就应该不会在有问题了。


12/2/25 :

“axe_break.wav” 是为斧头制作的音效文件，因为那时的近战武器有耐久度设定。

“knife_deploy.wav” 除了匕首之外，很多近战武器都用它，例如武士刀和砍刀。

长话短说，有人发现“axe_break.wav” 可以用在匕首切换的音效。使用“axe_break.wav”出现冲突的概率非常低，与“knife_deploy.wav”相比，这不就是我一直在找的替代品嘛，就用它了。
