Ryker's Main Menu

描述
Modifies the main menu to be listed, a-la Left 4 Dead 1. Selecting a gamemode will instantly lead to the "Advanced Search" page, with the redundant "Custom Search" button replaced with a "Create Lobby" button, making hosting games easier. "Play Single Player" will list all of the relevant modes, and "Extras" is repurposed as a menu for the less-played online modes. The "Achievements" and "Blog Post" buttons are removed. The Addons submenu is sleeker and shows you more addons at once. The "Quit" button will instantly quit the game using the same method I did in "Quit Confirmation Disabler".

This supports the same languages Left 4 Dead 2 does.

This is compatible with anything as long as it doesn't modify the main menu layout. Mods like main menu music and background replacers should still work fine. Not compatible with mods like Urik Menu. Ingame HUDs like Urik HUD, Simple HUD, Reduced HUD and NeunGUI should still work with this.

@reina sorry for responding terribly late. steam doesn't notify me about comments here sometimes. i'm glad you liked it and got some old-fashioned CS vibes from it! but as much as i also like the developer commentary, i don't think i'll add it because i haven't played it as much as i played campaign, versus, and survival

I do need to ask if Developer Commentary is removed though, if yeah then it probably fits in Extras tbh. such a chill mode that I revisit occasionaly

it's all good G! that's perfectly understandable. I can always switch between the two anyway, since I don't play said mutations that often.

@reina There won't be support for Rayman Mutations. I feel that it's out of scope for this mod, and I simply just don't Rayman Mutations, sorry.

@act01 I'll consider shifting the placement of the menu buttons, but yeah as you said, it's quite minor, and it may introduce some extra work where I'd also have to do separate button placements for 4:3 resolution. I'd like to keep the button placements consistent across all resolutions for now if I can help it. Thanks for uploading some example screenshots using custom backgrounds btw, it's very interesting and nice to see and may be helpful for other people!

With that being said, thanks for the praise everyone! It means a lot. It makes me happy to know that I wasn't the only person that wanted a menu that was more intuitive while also feeling like a Left 4 Dead menu. I honestly wasn't expecting many people to find it useful or suitable for what they were looking for in a menu.

@UndeadRyker dude, first of all i'm terribly sorry. I saw your reply a few days after you posted it but i must've forgot to reply you back. I deeply apologize for the super omega deluxe late reply. Now putting that aside, i don't have a lot to say except it's perfect. Genuinely. If you were asking me to nitpick, i still think the menu buttons need to be shifted a few inches away. That's my only miniscule complain. Um, just in case if you see this comment, you won't need to reply to it since i have goldfish memory, i probably do have dementia too and i will forget again, ehe. But if you do see this comment, i want to thank you for the mod. So, thank you.
