Your corpse recipe probably will work, but it's only got it set to input one corpse at a time.
Ah, the base game doesn't have corpse processing into chemfuel directly. You'd have to butcher the corpse first to get the meat, then turn that into chemfuel. The amount of meat you get per person is highly variable, based off butchery skill, remaining body parts, difficulty setting, and even malnutrition of the body...
Base recipe for the biofuel refinery is 3.5 nutrition into 35 chemfuel in 2,500 ticks. It can also convert wood into chemfuel. Are you using a different mod that can convert corpses? SheriffBennington's tweak to the original mod was what added the corpse recipe to this one, as something entirely new.
Hmm, you are indeed correct. Checking the code, that appears to be working exactly as intended. Not entirely sure why it's done like that. I didn't actually change any of the defs themselves from the original mod I updated. How odd. I'll see if I can tweak it.
