Where to find Tarot Cards?
Tarot cards can be found on any table of shelf. For example, in Tanglewood Street House they can be found in Dining room at the table.
Meaning of every card
There are only 10 cards in a deck, and all effects are randomized.
Every time you pull a card (Right Mouse Click) it will be a random card that will effect you, your teammates or a ghost.



Meaning of the cards:
  • Death: Triggers the ghost’s hunt.
  • Devil: Triggers a Ghost Event.
  • Fool: Waste of card (no effect).
  • Hangman: Kills you immediately. The chance of drawing this card is lower than most other cards.
  • Hermit: Prevents ghost activity for a short amount of time. (Same as smudge sticks)
  • Moon: Lowers your sanity to 0%.
  • Priestess: Resurrects a dead teammate. The resurrected teammate will respawn at the location of their corpse.
  • Sun: Restores your sanity to 100%.
  • Tower: Forces an interaction.
  • Wheel of Fortune: If it burns red, you lose 25 sanity, if it burns green it grants you 25 sanity.

Tarot cards drawn during a hunt will always be The Fool.

Patch v0.5.2.0
In the last patch there were some changes that affected the cards.

Drawing "The High Priestess" card when no one is dead will revive the next player who dies.

"The Tower" card can now force the ghost to interact with the Ghost Writing Book, DOTS Projector and doors, instead of only interacting with clutter.

The Hermit effect is not correct... it returns the ghost to its favorite room and prevents it from leaving for a period of time. It does *not* replicate effect of smudge sticks.

The Hanged Man is also not the only card with adjusted draw rate. For most cards the chance is 10%, but some have lower, some have higher.

And just in case it's unclear to anyone, The Fool does *not* replicate the effect of previous card or anything else. The Fool does absolutely nothing; it simply appears as another card before changing appearance to its real self.

Oooh, I see the confusion. I appreciate the help, but I'm only trying to correct the bit in the guide that says that smudge sticks prevents ghost activity. I don't need advice. I'm aware of all that stuff @sevidra

Col. Hathi, btw. Smudge sticks _stun_ the ghost for a few seconds. VERY useful if you're being hunted and can't hide and have one to hand. It doesn't last long, maybe 2 or 3 seconds, so RUN. But we've used it to snap photos of ghosts >.>. The Crucifix prevents a hunt twice, IF the ghost is within 3 meters of IT when it sees YOU to start the hunt (line of sight is vital). Hope it helps :)
