Click the white button.

Click the guy.

While the guy is highlighted click a tree, he will start chopping it. The red bar is the tree's health and the orange is the guy's stamina. After a bit he will get tired and return to the house and you will have to repeat steps two and three.

He will eventually finish the tree and leave a stump, at this point you will need to click him and click a tree again.

You have two minutes to chop down as much wood as you can, points are shown in the top right.
