The Dominator

One of the most attacking and dominating tactics in Football Manager 2022. Hopefully, you can get the same amount of success with it as I did.

I'm getting quite a few questions regarding the inspiration behind the tactic and how it came to fruition. The fact is I've been using a variation of this tactic since Football Manager 2019 with Liverpool and last used it in FM20 with Leeds.

There are some changes I made to the tactic for FM 22 as the tactic with Leeds had a Pressing Forward instead of an Advanced Forward, I also used a Mezzala instead of a CM in one of the midfield roles but the fundamentals are the same.

As you can see there are quite a few changes to the "Out Of Possession" tactical style with a much higher defensive line and much more aggressive tackling setup instructions. I feel the FM22 Dominator tactic has the right balance between the two and is the most successful out of the 3, and hence I made a video about it.
