first, locate where the original videos folder is in one window.
it should be in C:\Users\[your name]\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V

then decide the path in which you want your future clips to be saved in another window.

second, move the original videos folder to the new destination. whether you cut and paste it, or copy and paste it then delete the original. just make sure there is no copies of the videos folder in the default GTA V folder.
you can probably just rename the original copy instead of deleting it if you're afraid of losing the files in it during the moving process. - make sure the files are in the new place first!

third, type this into command prompt


if you don't know how to type out the new path, you can just go to it and click the address bar in file explorer then copy the path from there.

if done successfully it should all look like this:



do note that the rockstar editor settings in the game will continue to display the storage capacity from the C: drive, but the clips should still save to the new path and work with the editor.
