Very Gassy Moos

Beskrivning
Makes Gassy Moos 900% gassier.
  • Instead of 10 kg natural gas per cycle, they will now produce 100 kg, making farming them worth it beyond the achievement requirement.
  • What's more, they will now eat harvested gas grass, which makes it possible to keep the gas grass greenhouses separate from the moo ranches. Which means the natural gas won't block the sunlight and stifle the forage.

Gas output can be tweaked in the mod's options menu, courtesy of Peter Han's PLib[github.com].

Update (13/09/2025): Changed harvested grass consumed to 1kg per cycle to match grazing rate.

Update (27/11/2024): Fixed crash for the November QoL update.

Update (18/07/2024): Fixed for the new update. Also removed Harvestable Gas Grass as an option. Moos now eat both by default, just like the new critters in the Frosty Planet DLC.

Update (17/03/2023): If Moos can eat harvested gas grass, it will be added to the critter feeder when the colony discovers it.

@Gem That's sad lol. Never been to the endgame coz i keep finding new cool mods like this one then starting over lol.
Hmmm...guessing you'd have to make an advanced config to edit their consumption rate if that is even possible.
Ah well, all I ask is that you see what you can do. :)
The one I want most is more polluted dirt from pacu coz I have never been able to feed a single pokeshell without it dying before midgame. No rush. Thanks again :steamhappy:

@JayRobs Thank you! I can see what I can do but it would have to be next week. Just to warn you though, pufts often starve themselves in the late game because they can't consume atmosphere quickly enough.

Awesome mod. Could you by any chance, if you still play this game, do this for other critters? Like making a puft create more bleach stone or making pacu create more polluted dirt or making a very gassy morb?

nice! I do appreciate having the ranch and greenhouse separate. any chance of adding gas grass to feeders (and having the moos eat from them)? thanks!
