Jackbox Games have released their own launcher, The Jackbox Megapicker!
This guide will remain available, as Jackbox Utility is still an alternative launcher for those who prefer it.

Introduction

Ever started a Jackbox session, and were in a situation where:

You didn't know what to play?
Had to find a game and didn't remember from which pack was it?
You simply wanted to keep track of one Jackbox shortcut instead of one per pack?

Thanks to Jackbox Utility,[jackboxutility.com] you can now solve these issues! It's an unified launcher compatible with all Jackbox Games releases since The Jackbox Party Pack 1.

How to use

To use it, simply download the program and open it. It'll detect all the games you have installed automatically. The program is compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac (works perfectly on Steam Deck as well).

What do you mean by mods? If you mean customizing the banners and icons of the launcher, you can do that. If you mean something like adding the Starter to this app, you can't, since the app is closed source.

Well, I've tried it and it doesn't work. I only have [?] instead of letters. I guess it doesn't have a cyryllic font resource pack or something
May be I will try and reach out debogdoug in case he has a solution

I think you can insert additional languages using the following method:

- Copy one of the language files in Resources/Languages and rename it to anything following "language." (f.e.: "language.russian")

- Translate the contents inside to your language of choice.

- Go into settings and write the name of the file you created in the field Language (for example, if you created "language.russian", then you would write "russian".

Note I tested this in a rush, so it may not work with every field (and I'm not sure if the russian alphabet may cause problems).

In any case, I suggest you contact debugdoug through Twitter or other means, as he is the creator of the app. If what I told you works, maybe the translated UI could be added to the download!
