For both you and everyone else I'd suggest looking at a website called Akurasu. Its generally the best source of information for ALL Super Robot Wars games, and for this game in particular it has a detailed flowchart that includes what missions block others, but places those missions in the order they appear in the game rather than alphabetically, and tells you not only what those blocked missions unlock, but if those unlocks will be missed by not doing the mission or not. In the majority of cases they aren't, you just won't unlock them until later.
Specifically I'm curious if any single mission might block a series of missions. Like if "Mission 1" introduces SuperCoolRobot but then will block "Mission A" (that would also introduce SuperCoolRobot) but if you take that one it would lead to "Mission B" which leads to "Mission C" - mini-story-arc complete.
It's also a bit overwhelming as I'm not familiar with any of the super robot shows outside of Gundam, having only seen trailers / clips of some of the series in the game, and not knowing which mission names might be telling me what MS/SR I'm going to get from them but I don't know because I'm not familiar with any of them so any key words are over my head.
I have like half a dozen or more DBD missions right now, just arrived on Earth. I did a few in space where 2 spelled out exactly what mech I was getting in the description when I visited the area. Sorry if this was ramble-y.
Yup, that was made by a very cool guy (me).
For walkthrough, the best you get is the wiki: https://akurasu.net/wiki/Super_Robot_Wars/30
Not like the game is challenging enough at all to require stage-by-stage advice.
Now, if only I could find a full or even partial walkthrough...
Instead, I really wish someone would take this information and create a proper flow chart in a paint program, graphically showing which mission is connected to which. (In other words, a proper flow chart like that used in software and game development.) That way we could simply look and decide at a glance which path in the mission chart to follow to do certain missions or achieve certain results.
BTW: I've actually created a flow chart like that for a complicated game similar to this.
That said, I know it's a lot to ask, especially since it seems nobody has yet to publish a proper Walkthrough FAQ for this game, even though the game has been out for over 5 months now...
