GE U30B (LEGACY)

For the first 4-axled U-boat in this series, is the humble yet beefy U30B

The U30B's were first introduced in 1966 with production ending in 1975, totalling up to 295 units being produced. This unit being a followup to the U28B, it had been upgraded with a 3000hp 16-cylinder prime mover to, and competed with EMD's GP40 and ALCO C430 during the famed "Horsepower Race" during the 1960's, but it didn't stand against its 6-axle variant. Today, 2 U30B's survive into preservation, which are Western Pacific 3051 and Frisco 851, both western variants.

Here includes the U30B in 2 Eastern Roads, a Midwest Road and 2 Western Roads.
