The Federal Starship Forge (NCC-1701-A)is a 23rd-century Constitutional Starship managed by Starfleet. The starship is the second federal starship to use the name of the Entering.

service

In 2286, the Enter-A was awarded the title at the San Francisco Shipyard at 8442.5. She was ordered by the Federal Parliament to go under the water from the Earth's spaceport in a show of support for James B. Colonel T. Kirk and his men thanked the whale detector for saving the planet. The crew began to think they would be assigned to the Federal Starship Precision (Leonard McCoy said it was at best a "cargo ship"), but the new Progress soon came to light, and she docked behind the Federal Star Sein. The crew took position and steered the Progress out of the spaceport for a test flight.
