I love it!!

Now I can make my fleet look like Borg, Reaper or Beast-assimilated ships lol

This mod is not particularly complicated (literally just two files, a themes.xml diff and a script), though it took a lot of digging around the XML files and save data to work out how Egosoft themselves added the ship skins. I'll make a discussion on the base mod with a description of how the mod works. Also feel free to extract the mod files to reverse engineer it, you can use the X Catalogue Tool from the Egosoft website here [www.egosoft.com] (you need to sign in and link your steam account to download it).

Now everybody can enjoy the paintjobs on all of their ships. Nice job SkeletalFish!

I've been trying to make a patch for this but it didn't work, thanks for making it, also if you have time could you make a guide for how you managed it?

Managed to track down the bug, it was being caused by a different mod causing the default paint list to re-order itself when making selections.
