in this Guide i’ll show you how to boost your FPS if other Things are failed and not working.

First of all we have to make sure CS:GO is up to date!


Then we go to


C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\panorama

then we see a couple of Folders and Files and now we just need to rename the Folder fonts to #fonts and the Folder videos to #videos and that’s it!

At the first Start after doing this it will take longer time than usally but it’s only the first Start!


Now start CS:GO and you will see instead the Background Video a Blackscreen with just the Player. You are still able to see Operation Missions etc. For it increases my FPS ~35-45%!


If you want an additional boost for your FPS disable the Steam Overlay for CS:GO at the Point where you can also change your Startoptions!

For me it gave me around 15% more FPS
