Main Concept

This rework aim to make Vestal able to run different build than the same 4 skills, whether it is range support or a more offensive role in the frontline. The day of Vestal just spamming AoE heal are over

Overall

Vestal base stats have not been changed, she however has access to 2 new skills which replace Hands of Light and Illuminate. Divine Comfort limited use get refresh between each waves in endless

Illumination / Banishment: Illumination had utility; in campaign mode, it provided torchlight, great for long dungeons with limited space. Why not keep +torch on Banishment? Utility spells are fun—not everyone only plays endless mode! The name "banishement" (correctly spelled "Banishment") doesn’t make sense. Removing a target from stealth isn’t banishing. "Banishment" would fit moving or displacing targets. Removing stealth fits better with "Illumination." The debuff is too strong—25% damage reduction alone is powerful, but adding +15% crit (15%?) makes it excessive.

Change it back to "Illumination" but with proper utility identity:

Grant significant torchlight, like 20.
Buff the Vestal’s dodge (harder to hit something bright).
If keeping the damage debuff, keep only the crit boost (exposes weaknesses).
Remove Dazzling Light's torch effect, maintaining distinct spell roles.

Divine Comfort:
Making something like divine comfort limited use doesn't make it FUN. If you compare it to heals by the Flagellant which has more than one time use, this isn't THAT op that it can only be one time use. My suggestion is,
- Move heal value to 4-5 and remove the regen (regen is stronger than straight heal, because you can come out of deaths advance on that characters turn)
- Make it unlimited
- Keep the healing decrease, but make it 2 rounds. This will make it so you have to be more tactical of when you use the spell, but you don't feel like once you've used it you have one less tactical option for the rest of the fight, (more viable options always equals more fun decision making!)
- Either remove the speed debuff or make this spell Daze the Vestal for the next round.

Mace Bash:
Nobody ever uses this still, doesn't really matter that it's armor piercing or has more crit. You should consider actually reworking this.
- Add some utility to it by dazing the enemy
- If its possible to make it stun undead that would be cool (then its identity can be more firmly undead killer).

Hi.

After testing this I have some feedback on the Vestal rework.

As a general rule for you as a developer. People don't like to have their favorite skills nerfed, it doesn't feel fun. Most people think limited time use spells are not so fun.

What you should try to focus on in my opinion in a rework is to buff the skills that are under-used and under-powered.

I feel like the Divine Comfort should be unlimited so the healing debuff can stack with a debuff duration. 1st time full heal, 2nd time is -50% heal, 3rd time is -100% healing skills debuff. Droping the rejev down to 1 so you cant just spam rejev through the healing debuff. So if you are in a bind you can still have her as a deaths door queen in a pinch.

Doesnt feel strong enough to be a 1 and done with the amount of healing it provides and with the debuff being so heavy handed on the speed debuff.

@Crypt1d Because in Vanilla that move is simply too spammable, outclassing in many case her single target heal. Now it has recieved major buffs but also drawbacks, this way you gain more value from using it but have to make the decision of when to use it. To counter balance this her single target heal has been made stronger as well

Why limit Divine Comfort?

It's quite awkward that you have to move frontline vestal to rang 3 when you need a mass heal.
