First, when you pause the game any flying objects like spikes are still gonna move but wont hurt you, so you can use that to your advantage especially in the 'Climb' and 'Spikes Everywhere' levels.
Second i call the vampire abuse, the beginning of that vampyre track triggers most sound activated objects once and has a long time till it triggers them again, so you can switch back and forth to that track and youll have an easy time, especially in the 'Reverb Nation' level since it makes getting past those soundwave thingies quite easy.
