S-140 609B "Kaluga II"

After the succes of the Project 609 submarine the Soviet union wanted to make a Submarine based on this model but than Capable of firing Anti-Ship missiles. First they made the submarine Capable of firing Anti-ship Missiles from its torpedo tube tough that wasn't a Huge succes. So they asked the Same designer of the 609 to make another submarine that can only fire missiles. This is the result, A very small and fast submarine. Its also equiped with modern Camera equipment.



When you get in the submarine you will be in the second compartment also know as the Central Control post. (CCP).
If you want to start the diesel engines go to the back of the boat and search for a big yellow box with dials and keys on it. Turn all the keys on and wait for the engine to start. Now you can go back to the CCP and Sit in the helmsmans seat. Now you can give it a bit of throttle using the telegraph and move forward. Throttle options 1 and 2 wont drain the battery with the Diesel engine running. 3 is Full speed and 4 is Flank speed.

How to dive

First go back to the engine room and Search for 2 grey Boxes with a Dial and a Key on them. Turn the keys on and wait for the Hydraulic pressure to go to 3000. Than you can head back to the CCP and open the ballast vents. Fill the ballast to 22000L. Now you can sit in the Helmsmans seat and Set a depth in the keypad and turn the Depth hold key to your left foot on.

How to surface

Turn the air compressor on and wait for the blow tank to go up to 600PSI. Than turn the Blow valve on and open the ballast vents. You can now turn the depth hold off and you will surface. Now you can Close the ballast vents and turn the blow valve off. Note: The submarine might react a bit agressive while surfacing but its fine.
