the new update to EG: FQ has broke this compat mod

with forgotten queens being updated is this mod still needed and/or working?

@The Viral Divinity This likely isn't an issue with the patch, but an issue with Forgotten Queens itself, which hasn't been updated since May 2023. People have reported that the mod has been broken on that mod's page

This mod does need an update, seeing as how it must break Forgotten Queens.
Only in forgotten queens, can you have a megacorp hivemind. I've had the same bug for weeks now trying to figure it out,

Now that I know finally how to look through the errors, clearly this is some sort of branch office bug where it's overwriting / not getting a certain file or job, and then it breaks everything. I have only two mods that mess with megacorps: FQ and Bug Branch, so.. this can't be a coincidence. Even if I force a galaxy to generate with zero megacorps, I still eventually get this issue after my computer crashes from it being spammed into the error logs for 4 hours straight.

broke assimilation

For whatever reason, this mod causes a weird bug where for assimilation all species are treated as machine intelligence, making it impossible to assimilate any species.

I feel physical pain realizing that I have never actually been able to use bug branch and forgotten queens at the same time. Seriously, how is it that every time I've played either this, bug branch itself, or FQ are broken? It is a visceral feeling.
