Preface
Lili: Child of Geos started off as a way to bring Lili and her adventures to those who didn't have an iOS device. Once we started working to bring it over to the PC, we collectively decided that just "porting it over" was a disservice to Lili and to you. Instead of a quick one month port job we put our new IP on hold and went "ALL IN".

Even then we thought it would not take that long. In the end we spent 5+ months just iterating and tweaking and redoing entire sections of the game. The PC gives us almost unlimited capabilities so every day we would come to work and just find entire sections that we wanted to redo.

Making games takes a lot of effort and this guide is our attempt to show the very many differences between the two products.

Below, we've compiled some visual aids to help illustrate just how far we've come in the PC version.

NPCs
A big part of Lili: Child of Geos is interacting with NPCs. So it makes sense that this where a big portion of our efforts went in bringing the game to the PC. Here is a brief glimpse at the array of characters you can talk to and interact with in Lili: Child of Geos. (There are 45 in all.)
The Always Popular Comparison Table
That's not all we changed though. There have been many improvements across the entirety of the campaign.
To give you a better idea of just what all changed, we've made a CHART! HUZZAH!

A more comprehensive look at the differences between versions:
Side By Side Game Shots
During the creation of Lili: Child of Geos we took a number of screenshots of the mobile version just to keep us calibrated. When you are deep in the thick of things you often lose sight of what you are making. Being able to have a side by side comparison to see if you actually improved or made a step back is a great thing to have.

Here are some of comparisons we used during the making of Lili: Child of Geos.

PC

Summary
Thanks for checking out the Comparison Guide! Putting together the Guide was great for us internally as it really showed us the large differences between Lili and Lili: Child of Geos. It is really great to be able see how our Lili has grown up!

I am amazed at how much work you put into the PC version and mobile version.
Runs pretty darn smooth on a 750ti FTW @1400mhz core clock. Though does dip when talking to npcs.
One thing though... how to change UI to display controller rather than mouse/keyboard?

Graphics are not so much better as they are different; the levels have been changed somewhat. That being said, the look of the game has been improved. Oh, and it has the most boring looking cheevos since Ninja Blade.

nice comparison. i didn't even know this was a mobile game (i didn't know it before I got to know the steam version). I will check the mobile version out and maybe even play again on mobile.

I'm glad you spent the time doing that because I really love the way the game looks. I like the foilage here more than the CryEngine games.

So the leaves in Rust Wood were originally rusty red!
Well-done port; except for the gameplay mechanic (which seems more suited to touch than to the mouse), it doesn't look ported at all!
