This mod makes liquid pipes no longer break if Crude Oil turns to Petroleum inside.

Crude Oil turns to Petroleum around 400C, if this occurs while the Crude Oil is in a liquid pipe it will damage the pipe and the Petroleum will leak out. This does not make sense because Crude Oil and Petroleum are both liquids. Petroleum boiler designs are further complicated by difficulty pumping the hot liquids back up without overheating the pumps, which mean efficient counterflow designs usually require huge tile areas and/or exploits to work properly.

This mod makes it so that Crude Oil heated to 400C will turn into Petroleum and remain the pipe, with no leaks or damage. This does not affect any other transitions. Pipes will still be damaged by liquids turning to solid or gas, including Sour Gas.

quick comment on 'real-world' comparison here, in reality petrolium distillation has a lot of sublimation and density changes going on, that's probably what you're looking at.

Not sure why it breaks pipes anyway. The oil doesn't turn into a larger amount when it changes.

I can see when water turns into stream. It's 2 different things. But not when to like things change states.
