A wind spell can heal 25% of your health. Milk heals 8 and makes you 15% faster for 30 seconds. You can buy 100 milk for $3000. Point is I only used milk. No other food items tickled my fancy, and farming is only worth it for the money. The story requires you do some side quest, and you need to farm items for those quest. Upgrade your farming equipment to speed up the process. Combat was fun, and easy. Sorry but if you play games for boss fights or enemy combat like (dark souls, monster hunter, terraria, hotline miami, dissidia final fantasy nt, list goes on...) then this game is easy. Point is farming was just there for money, and not much profit at that. I made more grinding in East Forest Field over and over. Kill everything in that area, and sell the drops. Amber is worth 1000. 2 spells require 5 amber to create so keep 10 amber for yourself. Spell damage is based off weapon damage. I noticed this when I switched from sword to bow, and my spells did less damage. Keep your sword, and bow in the shortcut menu. You get magic back by attacking so if an enemy does an area attack you can back away, still do damage, and acquire magic. When you dodge you will see an icon appear under the health bar. That icon is invincibility frames. The leaf wings are worth creating for plus 50% movement speed. The best armor slows you down 20%. Still worth it because 30% movement speed is fast enough, and milk makes it 45%. I mainly did this to rush boss areas within the day as I waited on crops to grow. Once you get to the quest that says meet them near the waterfall at night, do not go until you are done preparing for end game. Trust me I warn you now, because I care. I was ready because a had made the hero sword, with one sword move-the blade spin. and had the spells - meteor, heal, earth shield. This made the final boss chump change. Keep the pickax with you at all times. Keep in mind the days really restart at 7 in the morning. lets say you kill a boss at 6:30. Run out of that area and come back at 7:01 the boss will be there. I did this to greed the first time, and it was worth it. I also did this while boss running for parts. Hope this helped you.
