The Battle of Hill 881
USMC attack VS PAVN defend

Part of The Hill Fights north of Khe Sanh Combat Base, Hill 881 housed a dug-in PAVN platoon. USMC then sought out entry via napalming the slope to the Southern Hill's summit. Soon after they were met with an intense rainstorm.

Hill 881 Changelog v3
-Removed the two pillboxes facing VC spawns on OBJ F.
-Lowered a bunker at OBJ E.
-Removed lens flare on downed helicopters.
-Pushed up the spawn protection a little on OBJ D & E and OBJ F for VC.

you need to download the SDK, I believe the only way to edit the teams is through editing hte map file and reuploading

I tried to look on the internet "how to edit maps in RS2" but nothing showed up.
There's no way to change it through text since the only things that show when opening "VNTE-Hill881.ini" are these:

[VNTE-Hill881 ROUIDataProvider_MapInfo]
MapName=VNTE-Hill881
FriendlyName=Hill 881
GameType=ROGame.ROGameInfoTerritories
Description=Battle of Hill 881

And if i try to open via text the file "VNTE-Hill881.roe" it doesn't

you open the file and change the faction based on the map. There may be a way to have it change to something else via a mod / mutator / campaign but I wouldn't exactly remember that.

But how to change it in the files? I opened it but it doesn't say anything about factions.
I won't change this map but just wanting to know so that i can custom other maps to be more realistic. I went to "workshop\content\418460\2589293315"

You would have to take the file and change the faction, then republish it and upload it. I don't have plans to change from USMC to US Army because of it being Hill 881, north of Khe Sanh.
