Hey guys, I wanted to introduce you to my first map. Based on the Brécourt Manor Assault and inspired by the series Band of Brother and the game Call of Duty 1, this map was created. the landscape represents the typical bocage area, bocage refers to a terrain of mixed woodland and pasture, with fields and winding country lanes sunken between narrow low ridges and banks surmounted by tall thick hedgerows that break the wind but also limit visibility. It is the sort of landscape found in many parts of southern England, for example in Devon. However the term is more often found in technical than general usage in England. In France the term is in more general use, especially in Normandy, The map offers many flanking options. in the south there is a crash site and a trench with artillery stationed there, then there is a small agricultural complex that leads to the main road. in the north-east there is a small estate with vineyards and apple orchards, which is occupied by german troops and is used as battalion headquarters. German units have set up a roadblock there. I hope you like the map and enjoy it and maybe leave me a little feedback, I would be very happy. Because I would like to create more maps in the future because I really enjoy it. I'm already planning the next map, it should be a 2 vs.2 or maybe even 3 vs.3.
