Welcome to my guide.

When I was writing my achievement guide I was missing information that would be too much to add to that one. I also found it annoying to go to an NPC that upgrades your items to see what you need, go back to your storage, and then go back to that NPC. That is how this guide started, but I was already halfway through the game by that time. So this guide might miss information, but I wrote down as many useful things as I could think of.

Where this guide will be lacking the most is the quest list. I have listed all the quests, but I don't remember who started them anymore, as I didn't write that down during the game. I only thought about writing the list after I got stuck myself and the developer mentioned that the quest system might be a bit confusing. So that part of this guide might not be so useful as it could be, but maybe it helps you figure out which quests you're missing.

To get keys, I would highly suggest farming bosses, which you might need to do anyway for their items. The higher bosses have a chance to drop the higher keys.

* Upgrading the axe and pickaxe makes you hit harder but does not increase the number of resources you get, for how expensive it is I would say it is a waste to upgrade them. You can use the resources for better things.

I would highly recommend first go for the highest fire spell, because that one is insane and will help you out a lot. You'll get a few spheres from sidequests but in case you're missing spheres (which most likely is the case) you can trade 10 Vengeful Souls for 1 Sphere by Timmy in Paw Village. A good spot to farm those Vengeful Souls is by going back and forth between West Freshwater Swamp and South Freshwater Swamp, because on the border of the South Freshwater Swamp you'll always find 6 enemies which you can kill very quickly if you use the highest fire spell, meteor.

The quest system in this game can be a bit confusing. I wish I wrote down which quest was started by which NPC but I did make this list after I got stuck myself. Which was when I had saved someone in a Tunnel.. I had to go to a specific guard afterward which I didn't visit because of the portals and never entered that map again. I have written that down by that specific quest because I expect more people get stuck at that point. Before that point, there was also a sidequest that starts because you are in Paw village during the day with sweets/candy in your bag, but I forgot which quest that started.
