Gold Rune

GOLD!

Simply adds a rune to the game called "Gold Rune." When used, turns everything in proximity to Isaac into GOLD! At least everything that has a gold counterpart in the game.

For example: Keys, bombs and troll bombs turn into golden version of themselves, while enemies get afflicted with the midas curse. Some items on nearby pedestals get transformed as well if they have a gold counterpart.

There is now a lot of good gold stuff in the game and you very rarely get to see them, so I thought adding this rune would give the player more agency on gold drops.

Other technical details:

• Gold rune spawns with 1/3 the rate of other runes
  
• Can be used defensively in a pinch as it freezes enemies with Midas' touch
  
• Teleporter, Razor blade, there's options, options?, coupon and iron bar turns into their golden counterpart
  
• Works with hearts, coins, keys, bombs, pills, batteries, trinkets, a few chest types, and troll bombs
  
• Has a 12 room charge with clear rune
  
• Turns nearby rocks into fools' gold and poops into golden poops
  
• Optionally supports EID in English, French and Italian
  
• Optionally supports MiniMap API
  
• Optional synergy with my other mode: Magic chalk (increases area of effect by 60%)
  

Bugs

• Due to a bug in the modding API, the limited spawn rate doesn't apply to rune bag

Nato Potato made a "Gold Card" mod which is similar but has a different effect. I've discovered their mod after finishing mine. Please check out Nato's Gold Card. During first draft of this mod, I made it a "gold card" but switched to "Gold Rune" afterward to not be confusing, and because the cracking effect goes well with a rune that "pops open."

EdinEfin's "Philosopher's Stone" is pretty much the same mod, apart that it's an active item with 3 uses and affects the whole room instead of rune with a small area around Isaac.
