I never player "Cold War" mod, because not very interested by modern wars (in games only !). For me, MOWAS2 doesn't seem to be the best game using such important combat range of contemporary vehicles & weapons. And I don't like missions with a large amount of units, MOWAS2' AI is too stupid for managing that.
I prefer the spirit of SHOWWII, where the focus is often on small squads/units using stealth, not force, for achieving its tactical objectives.
So your "unexpected" mod is the perfect opportunity to try CW, but at a reduced scale of combat, corresponding in fact to reality.
