Here is a mod that makes it so that the quality of the weapon used as ingredient carries over to the product. So when you put in a legendary charge rifle, you will get a legendary charge rifle.

Two qusetions: is it CE-compatible and is it safe to add this mid-playthrough?

Looks like the only thing related to this mod on there is saying there are no assemblies. And I know there are errors with the VWE - Lasers mod, but it's not one I'm familiar with and I am in the middle of multiple other projects so it will be a while before I get around to it.

well im not going to use my Legendary charge rifle then ill use one of the bad ones

Someone let me know a couple days ago that the patch for it isn't updated. I don't use that mod so I haven't checked it out myself, but I'm assuming it doesn't work for them since I've done nothing to update it.

The Persona does not keep the Quality. When you craft the Persona, you are creating a new item, so the Quality gets re-rolled

Does minus laser mean i don't work for them?

does the Persona keep the Quality of the weapon i put in?
