If you have the Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin - Deluxe Kit dlc, you will unlock this automatically. Or you can easily get layered Armour from Melynx, the shady Vendor cat who sells you stuff for bottle caps.

Obtained all of Navirou's Outfits. Now you can mix, match, and show off your totally chic fashion style! Note: Excluding add-on content.

If you have missed any of the times she hid through the storyline, you can speak to her and Kyle in Lulucion and she will revist the village(/s) and after speaking to her again she will re-hide.

You'll eventually get this the more monsties you hatch. Some monsties might seem like they aren't worth getting, but some weak monsters have really good genes you can pass onto your main monsties.

In Lulucion, after finishing the main storyline, start Lamure, the Merrier quest,
deliver 10 Lamure Commodities and meet the client. Then complete the next quests where you fight two Deviant monsters. After this the Deviant Monsters: Hakolo quest will become available and will reward you with the Lvl 9 Kinship Stone. Continuing the Deviant Monsters Quest line will allow you to obtain strong Deviant Gear as well as more Deviant Monsties :D

New Rider
Completed one third of the Kinship Skills Gallery. There are many more Monsties out there to befriend.


Veteran Rider
Completed two thirds of the Kinship Skills Gallery. One step closer to finishing it all.


Monster Rider
Completed the Kinship Skills Gallery. You are truly a Rider among Riders!


Bonds of Friendship
Completed the Double Kinship Skills Gallery. Bonds of friendship are forever.

Bonds of Friendships seems to require you to use Ratha, otherwise it doesn't seem to count.

Helping Hand Medal
Completed 50 types of Subquests. Making a big difference, little by little.


Good Soul Medal
Completed 100 types of Subquests. Making a big difference, little by little.

You can accept as many sub-quests as you want. I recommend you keep accepting all of them while doing the story and other things as you will complete some of them without realising.

Gold Medal
Completed the gold Trial Quest requirements. As befits such an achievement, this medal is solid gold.

Scholar's Tome
Obtained a new skill scroll. A sign of your noteworthy weapon proficiency.


Expert's Tome
Collected all skill scrolls. There's no weapon you cannot put to good use.


Philosopher's Tome
Collected half of all Books of Combos. Testifies to your remarkable craftsmanship.


Sage's Tome
Collected all recipes. Proof of your mastery over all items.

You can get some of these from chests, some from quests and some from Melynx

Monsterpedia: Novice
Completed one third of the Monsterpedia. There is still much to be discovered.


Monsterpedia: Expert
Completed two thirds of the Monsterpedia. Just gathering the information is tough enough!


Monsterpedia: Master
Completed the Monsterpedia. Everything known about monsters.

Literally just fight every single type of monster :)

Monstipedia: New Edition
Completed one third of the Monstipedia. A simple task for a Rider.


Monstipedia: Revised Edition
Completed two thirds of the Monstipedia. You're a Rider en route to the top.


Monstipedia: Complete Edition
Completed the Monstipedia. Very few actually manage to achieve this.

To complete the Monstipedia you just "Gotta catch them all". Not all monsters can become Monsties so you don't need to hatch as many different species/breeds as you need to fight.

(Add-on content doesn't count towards these achievements)

Multiplayer unlocks during the Rutoh Village's story line and Multiplayer Expedition Quests unlocks when you reach the 4th village.
Scroll of Cooperation
Completed your first Co-Op Quest in Multiplayer. Working together with friends makes everything so much easier!


Scroll of Power
Won your first Single Battle in Multiplayer. The first of many battles to come.

I won my first battle against another player using the Zinogre armour and Hunting horn (Usurper's Growl) along with Ratha.

With the hunting horn I would use the skills berserk and bloodsuck to increase my crit rate and for some health regen. The Zinogre armour has Crit-Heal (M) and Partner for more health recovery and make the kinship bar fill up when at 50% hp or lower. I also tried to win head to heads with the opponents monstie and fill up my bar to use Ratha's ride on ultimate to one shot the opponent.

I find this set up useful when fighting strong monsters and it works well in PvP.
There are probably better builds out there, but this is what has worked well for me

Scroll of Unity
Won your first Pair Battle in Multiplayer. Teamwork is the key to success.

If you start Multiplayer Quests and Battles before other players join your lobby, the AI you fight with or against you. You can still obtain the achievements with AI players. Edit: I think they've changed this for the battles but if you play in offline mode, it may still pair you with an AI.

Levelling Kinship Quickly

• Equip Armour with HtH Master skill or Soul Kinship skill
  
• Equip a talisman with the Soul Kinship skill
  
• Use a mounting charm at the Prayer Pot
  
• Equip a Hunting Horn and use the Bonds of Kinship skill
  
• Equip a Gunlance and use it's skills in Head to Heads

At some point you can buy a talisman with the Soul Kinship skill from Melynx or if you do a lot caves and RNG is on your side, you may get a talisman from chests in Dens. Tigrex and Diablos armour have the HtH Master skill.

Making Strong Monsties
Once you have unlocked the Rite of Channelling, obtain eggs from all egg laying Monsters. Even if you don't want to use the Monstie or it's a weak Monster, it may have useful Genes that can make your Main Monsties stronger or more versatile. Also you can stack Genes, so it's worth farming the same type of Monster to upgrade your Monsties Genes.

Accept all the side quests
Most side quests can be completed without you realising it. Just accept them and do what you want. As well as xp, they can sometimes give useful items or even skill scrolls.

Layered Armour
In the town of Lulucion, there's a vendor that will let you craft layered armour. The layered armour options will be of the armour sets you've previously crafted.

Quick Find Monsters
Check the Monsterpedia and click on Location. It will then hover over the Catavan Stand nearest to its location.
