Alright now for the tips on how to play with ridika

Basic LLL string manipulation

Ridikas first hit of her string actually can be manipulated to get easy backstab damage if you go thowards your foes right side and move your mouse around 90 degrees to the left right as the move starts you will end up behind your enemy and can decide weather to launch or combo


Mastering this is the essential thing about her in the face playstyle.

The LLL / LLR Mixup

Another basic thing about ridika is the LLL / LLR mixup,
LLL is a safe string on block and can be readily mixed up with the guard breaking R.
Be on your guard though as using the R is unsafe and if your enemy is expecting it he can just stuff his own attacks in your face before you have time to break his guard.

Why this is a mixup? well if they try to attack you and you will go with the LLL instead you will end up getting the last hit of your string to connect and are left on slight advantage to keep your pressure on.

L -> alt+R
The power launcher is a handy tool when you are moving down on a player together with a friend but in all honesty its not that useful on 1v1 fights you are beter off not using it. throw it out every now and then and you might catch your enemy by suprise.

So the basic ridika combo after launcher looks something like this


Notice how i use the L string manipulation to get behind the target after launch for maximum damage

Mastering the spin

Ridikas spin move is a deadly tool when utilized well and a sure way to get killed if wiffed, master all the different ways to use the spin and keep in mind that you can mix up when to use the alt+R version on the two spins to get that movement inside there.

i would not recomend using the basic spin at all if possible, the damage isnt worth the risk you take.

the best time to use the spin is while diving inside a cluster of enemies that are moving down on a team mate backs turned on you, this can score you easy kills.

CQC edge spins can be dirrected thowards the wall to make a great and relatively safe tactic at the bridge levels small bridges

Wiff intentionally

Basically wiffin the first 2 hits of your LLR string can be a devastatingly powerful tool to lure your enemy closer for your guard break to hit

Chasing

The best moves to chase down a player thats low on health are

Fly + L

alt+R -> alt+R
This move can give you the small speed advantage to catch your enemys behind and do the last bits of damage

Being mobile

Its crucial to be mobile while closing in on your enemies especialy the ranged ones, you can strafe in mid air by doing alternating jump fly paterns like this. it will make it hard for the enemy to figure out were you will land and even harder to hit with projectiles. use the fact that you can do 180 degree turns in mid air to your advantage


Super moves

Blind love (3 RP bars)
This move is your panic button use it to get out of tough sitsuations or get the killing blows on many players that are low on HP by comboing it to heart breaker

Heart Breaker
Always have RP for atleast one of these moves and never use blind love if you cant detonate it with this baby.
