Hardcore Starts

The starts are hardcore but possible, but you have to be in Okran's good books to survive.

These starts have multiple hand picked start locations for lots of different play throughs and they're also fun for 'dead is dead' runs.

You start with minimal gear and low stats.


The starts:

• Be Quick Or Be Dinner: Start at one of five random locations populated by cannibals.
  
• Legless: Start with no legs in one of fifteen random towns that has no Robotics Workshop. If you're really unlucky it might be a Holy Nation town, in which case you have a very long crawl ahead.
  
• Skin Suit: Start outside one of the three Skinhouses in Sonorous Dark and try to avoid getting peeled
  
• Gone Fishing: Start on Fishman Island - In Kenshi the fish eat you.
  
• Ground Fog Day: Start in Mongrel - don't become a feast fit for a Prince when you try to leave the city.
  
• Abandoned: Start at one of twenty-seven cities, towns or minor outposts. You have no limbs. Unlike the Legless start you do have a chance to start somewhere with a Robotics Workshop.
  
• Reboot: Start as a skeleton in Holy Nation territories in one of 8 random locations. You have just reset so your stats are very low, you don't have a left arm or a weapon.
  
• Outside: Start as an escaped slave in the United City territories. You are hungry and have nothing but a bounty on your head.
  
• Mute: Start in a random location and you have no way of talking to NPC's so you are unable to buy from or sell to shops and unable to hire mercenaries. Lets hope you enjoy looting.
  
• Trash Or Treasure: Start in the Ashlands
  
  
  
• Mistakes Were Made (bonus hardcore-challenge start) - Narko picks where you start from over 50 different hand-picked start locations. You are hungry, you are in debt, you have a large bounty with the 3 major factions and your limbs are broken (actually some are missing). Also, how did you manage to upset so many people from so many different factions?

Because this mod uses so many different start locations it might conflict with other mods that change areas on the map. Some problems may be fixed by changing your load order.
