Information
This is a compatibility patch mod for EU4 Style Monuments and Kaiserredux: A Kaiserreich Expansion.
You need to activate all 3 mods.

Since it aims for making the included monuments work with Kaiserredux: A Kaiserreich Expansion, it changes the states the monuments are in, if required, as well as required ideologies and ideology drift bonuses.

However since Kaiserredux: A Kaiserreich Expansion has more ideologies than vanilla, the monuments will only accept one ideology / give one ideology drift bonus instead of multiple that might fit:
  • Communism was replaced with Totalists
  • Fascism was replaced with National Populists
  • Democratic was replaced with Market Liberals
  • Non-Aligned was replaced with Authoritarian Democrats

A few monuments' conditions, effects and historical background did not fit at all into the Kaiserredux: A Kaiserreich Expansion mod, hence they were removed (e.g. Halle des Volkes).
Descriptions were not changed and might still not make too much sense in Kaiserredux: A Kaiserreich Expansion.

Probably asked by people a ton but can something be ton about exclusive ideology buildings, at least those that don't boost ideology cause its weird having Statue of Liberty, Liberty Bell, Capitol and Mount Rushmore all locked behind Mark Lib, other nations probably have something similar, now for buildings that do increase an ideology then either have that removed or better yet if possible make a setting in which people can decide if they want ideology to increase/ requirement so those that still want it can keep it and those that don't then can turn it off and build monuments without having to choose a certain ideology.

I think for the monuments requiring totalist ideology maybe replacing the ideology gain with a different benefit. Then making them available to the three primary socialist ideologies (excluding social democrats for simplicity) would be a good way to adapt it slightly more to kaiserredux. Not a requirement though love the extra rp of having monuments to build and maintain.

@MHKAL2225: The idea gotta give fixed ideology drifts though. I could make it give a drift to multiple, but I feel that's more a malus than a bonus cause it will give you drift to ideologies you don't want.

Imo you could generalize the slots more, with Communism being replaced with RadSoc, Tot or Syndie slot; Fascism with NatPops, Democratic for SocCon to SocDems and Non-Aligned for AutDems and PatAut?
It's a bit muddled with how SocDems can be socialists but at least it's more varied

@OctavXD: Kaiserredux got renamed and that broke the dependency. Should be fixed now (may need to resub to this and the main monument mod, if it doesn't update automatically).

I have all 3 mods enabled, but the monuments don't appear

couldn't there just be a submod or smth to just remove the ideology requirements or nation of origin or smth like that :P its kinda annoying not being able to have the Capitol and other US buildings as Democratic Pershing NEE or not have the Red Square or other commie buildings in RADSOC Bukharins Russia as an example xd
