Kuvaus
Adds a new weapon to the game inspired by Descent 1's Spreadfire Cannon. The Spreadfire cannon is an energy weapon that alternates between a blast of three tightly-grouped shots, then three loosely-grouped shots. Works decently well against large groups of enemies. Spreadfire cannons can be found anywhere that a plasma gun can be found.

Thanks to TESLA for the turret for the thumbnail! The in-game Spreadfire Cannon will look similar to a standard plasma gun.

While i am, i saw the mod also seemingly do something to either the fighter market or the normal market....with that said i have over nine thousand mods so maybe you got a point.

Hmmm. Seems fine to me. Are you running other mods? I'd advise you disable them one by one until you find the one that is the issue.

I'll take a look. If the problem is that you can't make spreadfire fighters that's deliberate.

i just fixed the same issue with a different mod on a dedicated server. i made a new save file by adding an extra character to the Galaxy-name in serer.bat and copied the Modconfig.lua into the new galaxy folder. upon restart this triggered the update to work and i just moved the newly downloaded mods into the actual save directory.

i also tried deleting the mod folders/files to trigger update and for some reason it just dosent work. the error in cmd was pointing to the modinfo.lua file so perhaps something in that file can be edited to force the update. but i have no plans to break it again and test

Eh. Fair enough. Sorry that the update broke your server. I really wish the avo devs fixed it and didn't rely on modders to play tech support.
