My last two updates for this mod dropped right before RimWorld updated to 1.3 and 1.4 respectively. This is why the sub count is tiny. Someday i'll get around to this one again.)

Congratulations! You are a big crystal, you eat rocks and minerals. Alternatively there's a big crystal eating your rocks and minerals, you must stop it!

Adds a hidden faction (like mechs) who'll show up and try to eat your map. You can also play them which is like watching a fishbowl but it's a crystal inside a hollowed out mountain instead. Also adds an eye burning biome, doesn't always spawn on world gen (chance raises with heat), i'm new to biomes so bear with me.

1.3 render changes messed with large pawn's textures, use a mod to correct the blur:
Heeta's Pawn Render Patch for HD
Bradson's HD Pawn Rendering
Vanilla Expanded Framework (Erdelf added a tickbox to the menu)


Stuff i'm working on:
Crystal tribals/long lived pawns, something reasonable to keep fed that you can incorporate into human settlements
Improving the gem garden
Some sort of death reward, more like a thrumbo horn type big ticket item then a bunch of gems
More mod support so you can eat your favorite mods.

If you run into something you really want to eat but are unable too tell me the mod it's from and i'll see whats up; items that could be made from wood or metal w/e is a no go. Raw materials only.

More importantly if you're playing something and it's not a giant crystal but it's eating rocks and metal (you'll notice a moodlet to clue you in) give me a heads up.

@GarbageDay This mod sadly appears to be incompatible with Terraform Rimworld. With Crystosentients in my load order, even with god mode on, I cannot place any terrain tiles with Terraform Rimworld (like I used to before). I think the terrain type technologies were also blank, as in, they did not unlock anything.

I'll drop by sometime later with the error message, as I have removed it for now from my load order. Which is a pity, since it sounds like an interesting mod.

Tested most the default stones/metals now and they're working (although my mod version is ahead of the workshop and its possible i found and fixed something i don't remember)

It *shouldn't* be a race mod causing it, perhaps if you're using some sort of mod that changes the default stone's def? The patch system i had to make for stone eating is eye-crossingly complex and probably where an issue would come up.

If you want to trouble shoot yourself making a game with no mods besides this one and it's dependencies enabled would be a good place to start. Then add on a few mods at a time until you find the break.

They ate vanilla chunks for me, weirdly. Havent tried a colony without a big crystal.
