Classes Damage Comparison
由 TheSparrow 制作
Nosgoth class damage isn't clear. In this video I calculated the damage per second of all the current available classes in Nosgoth. White normal damage without abilities.

And then once the humans start to work together, then the vamps have to start working together. That's equally as annoying when vamps on your team just kill camp.

@Danja but the entire purpouse of vamps being op in the first place is to force the humans to actually work together. but i cant stress enough of how many times ive gone into a match and have the worst co-operation imaginable..i usually play this game with friends but must of them didnt even have it so i had to buy 2 vetenery packs jsut to gift them. but even then if u go ontoo any match all of the humans never work together...and this is why steam cant have nice things due to all the blood hungry barbaric play styles of nearly everyone on this community -_-

This guide is so cool and it also helped me to chose which class to unlock :)

It's funny how people are always saying "Humans are OP" or "Vamps are OP". They're both overpowered. If you get stuck in a situation where your enemy has the advantage, you get wrecked. That's what this game is about.

IMO, humans have superior focus fire ability, and since their abilities are ranged, they do significant damage before vamps can even close the distance (if played well). Humans' modest CC can (in a perfect world) ensure a constant 4v1 against the vamps. Vamps balance this by having great abilities that synergize with the abilities of their teammates (namely incapacitations and AoEs/DoTs). It's all about coordination, for both sides.

I stressed it in the video and I say it again. All the different classes are effective in their own way. This was just to try and calculate the basic white damage. As useless as it might seem, I had that curiosity. Just that.

I'll bend a bit since this was probably done with damage stats different than today (June 24), but there is no way the numbers for the vamps are that low, you could even see that each melee attack did 325 damage consistently, every time. This is what is hurting this game right now, OP vamp melee, 3 hits kills every human. Then you look at the Hunter, while he may have the most DPS, you are lucky to even get up a full round of ammo before you die. You may only get 5-6 arrows off and then you are respawning. His damage might be low, but his contribution to the team is even lower, good thing they have the most annoying weapon in the game though! The bola!

good vid, but this is tbh not rly usfull for anything, since (as u said) all classes does have different roles, while hunter is more of an mid-range high dmg class, scout goes as a long range hit-and-run class with a bunch of escape mechanics, alchemist goes as a close-range AoE dmg class with disturuptive abilities. on vamps, reaver goes as a kinda assassin focused class, which means he needs the big dmg so he can quickly kill someone then run out, tyrant goes as the beefy tank that runs in and takes the big hits, sentinel exels at spliting the humans so the other vamps can go in and kill and lastly the deciver has a simular role as the reaver and the sentinel were he can either go for an assassin based skillbuild or a teamsplitting one. its a good video tho but if u really want to detirminate what class has the most dmg potential u need to take more things in consideration (like alchemists AoE, scouts exelent poke potential etc.)
