VAZ-21099 "Sputnik"

- VAZ-21099 "Sputnik" (colloquially called "ninety-ninth") is a Soviet and Russian passenger car of the II group of a small class, the first front-wheel drive sedan of the Volga Automobile Plant. It is the most full-size model in the Lada Sputnik family.

The machine was prepared for conveyor production in March 1990, but the start of production was postponed due to a delay in the supply of components from subcontractors. Serially produced at the AvtoVAZ plant from December 22, 1990 to June 30, 2004. Until the end of 2011, it was assembled in Ukraine at the ZAZ plant from Russian car kits with interior decoration, like that of the VAZ-2115. The VAZ-21099 was exported under the names Lada Forma, Lada Sagona, Lada Diva, Lada Sable and etc.
