Sciros the Reborn Assassin

Sciros is a revived assassin working for Loxodont. He plays as an unpredictable rushdown/mix-up fighter with a focus on extra movement options.

Gameplay
Normal moves


All the strongs have extra impact when you hit the sweetspots


Press down while holding jump to float (also works during aerials)



Throw shurikens with Fspecial - catch them with any normal attack - throw them again with any Special
Shurikens only do knockback on an opponent in hitstun, but the boosted shurikens always have knockback


Teleport to your shuriken with Uspecial (the boosted shuriken lets you attack sooner after teleporting)


Use Nspecial to stun your opponent and prepare your next attack


Dspecial tells your ghost friend to stay in place for a bit. Use an aerial near him and he will give you a boost.

About the trailer
Currently, the trailer only shows backstory lore, but I have plans to make it a more complete experience (for example by adding the gameplay clips there too).

I absolutely love Sciros, but with just one exception: the jab combo's initial hit has a launch angle that makes it a gamble whether or not the opponent will fall out of it before the second can even land without being uncomfortably close to them, and this is especially with lighter or smaller characters, or later percentages. Oftentimes it feels disadvantageous to attempt completing the jab combo because they'll likely fall out of it fast enough to retaliate with a quick hit-box.

Otherwise, they're a genuinely fun character to play.

I basically just threw some my favorite movement options from Smash into a blender and put the result into a single character. My favorite Smash clips were always the ones where people were able to pull complete mind games / fake-outs on their opponent through sheer movement alone. High precision fast-paced combos are always very satisfying to watch as well.

Been a few years since I first downloaded this, but I had to come say that this is still my favorite platform fighter moveset ever. Usually float characters feel a bit weird to me, but this is the smoothest, most intuitive feeling character I've ever used.

Fun and solid at a base level, but also has the coolest combo potential.

I've not really been involved much anymore in the Rivals workshop scene, so (as of now) I'm not sure if I'll be updating any of my characters anymore.
Might be best to assume they will stay in their current state.

Surprised i never did this but i gotta say, this is one of if not the coolest character on workshop. Sciros looks super sick, has a great moveset that allows him to do so much hype stuff. Absolutely amazing work!

Hm, that's weird. Does it happen on other characters as well? And which skin specifically? (Does it also happen on other Sciros skins?)

so i downloaded this char a while back. it was fun, but not very polished at the time. but now ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the sprites and animations are so... alive! really cool charachter, keep up the good work, comrade
