The Field Artillery is an cannon that is completely vanilla, yet devastatingly effective. It fires canister shot (or grapeshot), consisting of 48 steel balls. Each ball weighs 50 kilograms and is propelled to over 160 miles per hour, inflicting massive damage against personnel and breakable structures.

The cannon sits on a fully functional carriage, built to resemble the French Gribeauval gun carriages of the Napoleonic wars. The carriage has 2 sets of wheels: one which propels it forward, in conjunction with a second set which traverses it left and right. As a result the Field Artillery can be moved anywhere anytime, despite weighing a staggering 15 tonnes.

FIRING MALFUNCTIONS: If the oxygen canister does not successfully detonate the cannon, you can shoot the backup oxygen canister located on the rear of the barrel.

WARNING: If you are in the vicinity of the cannon you will be killed by blast damage. The sights (NUMPAD 0) allow use of the cannon remotely. As of April 2022, the chair on top of the cannon has been removed since sitting on top of the cannon no longer makes you immune to the blast. Likewise, it is recommended to sight the cannon using the camera sights (NUMPAD 0), and fire remotely.
