This is a mod that reskins items that look similar to make them more distinct from one another. The intention is to keep the vanilla game style intact, while providing just a tad more unique identifiying information for each sprite.

Even if you don't have colorblindness, Distinctive Item Reskins might, for example, help you differentiate the various syringes in the game. Accessibility is something I consider very important!

No items are changed as long as they are distinguishable from others. There are quite a few sprites that are just ugly on their own (*cough* breath of life), but I left them alone for now. I might make a separate mod for those.

Distinctive Item Reskins is still not finished. I have already composed a to-do list for items that will be included in the future. More sprites will come.

really nice, the synthoil and adrenaline sprites look a bit out of place tho.

@Special Thanks, You make a folder in mods folder where you put the sprites you want from this mod and others, the unsubscribe to this mod (give a like/fav tho) and you will have the sprites you want, and less mod bloating.

Ah okay, I also think a way to individually toggle sprites per item would be cool to have, so I'll look into it. I actually don't have much experience with scripting though so I can't promise anything

Quality isn't really a problem since it's more personal preference, but I prefer No. 1, Synthoil, and 1up.

I'd have to see how mod config works first, because I have never used it or used mods that require mod config. In the meantime, for which sprites do you prefer the original? I was already planning on reworking some of them to make the quality more consistent

do you think that, perhaps using the mod config menu, we might be able to turn some reskins on and off? I'm not sure if that's possible or not but I love a majority of these, just a few where I prefer the original
