Enable Developer Console
If you don't have it already enabled:
  • Open options, go to keyboard tab, press advanced and enable developer console


    Start a new game
  • Start a new game in chapter 6 "We Don't Go to Ravenholm"


    Change the level
    We will be tricking the game to think that we had already played through the entire chapter with using only the gravity gun.
  • Open up console using ` (~)
  • Change the level with:
    changelevel d1_town_05


    Getting the achievement
  • You should get the achievement right here, after leaving the tunnel.



    Notes
  • It is your choice to cheat this achievement.
  • I chose to find this exploit after I unbound every weapon change key and played through the chapter with only the gravity gun and didn't get the achievement.

life saver, absolute life saver. i was stuck getting the achievement and walkthrough's did not help
and always at the last moment i used a weapon
