I have messages like this "I need to talk to you ASAP it is very important. Don't worry I am not here about trading". This user will most likely have a steam level of 1-10

Someone (not me) on a post wrote "Two days ago a person on my friends list asked me to vote for his counterstrike team on a third party website, this required me to log in to steam. The website looked exactly like the official steam log in page so I didn't think to look at the url but turns out it was a phishing website and they stole my log in info."

Note: even if you known someone for 10 years and they ask you to do this, it is likely their account has been compromised!"

Your friend will say "I found a free steam key of GTA on this website. However, you have to log in with your steam credentials that includes steam username and password."

If you made comments on youtube, you have probably seen this!
There are 2 messages that come up
-1) One person will say "Pro-tip you can watch free movies on Felixzone or some other website. Or I just logged into my Girlfriend's instagram"
-2) within about 15-30 mins afterwards, a second message will say "I know I have been using Flixzone for years"

Personally, a used book salesperson wanted to contact me on Whatsapp. I know it was a scam as they never told me where their store was or what book they were interested in. The description was very vague. They did not even mention where they saw the add.

People on another site saying they accidentally reported your steam account is a common scam, especially from random discord requests
