Introduction

There are currently 38 swords:

1 default sword
4 free swords
16 collectable swords
15 purchasable swords
2 pre-order exclusive swords

... and 18 gloves:

1 default glove
2 collectable glove
15 purchasable gloves

A lot of swords are scattered all around levels in the form of collectibles.
Finding those should be almost effortless once you unlock the "Detector" upgrade.

1 sword and 1 glove can be obtained by clearing all 20 waves in Wave Mode.

1 sword and 1 glove can be obtained by getting gold medals in all 5 Kill Runs.
Kill Run mode can appear challenging at first, but it becomes much easier once you master "wavedash" technique.

2 swords were pre-order exclusives and are no longer obtainable.
The first sword is same for all platforms and the other one is exclusive for each platform

There are no rewards for beating the Hardcore mode or collecting all Artifacts / Audiologs.

Sword 1 - Seisouken

The default sword, this is the sword you start with.

Sword 2 - TsuruGR-74

This sword can be found on the Level 3 - Climb in the form of collectible.

Sword 3 - Sentinel

This sword can be found on the Level 4 - Jacked Up in the form of collectible.

Sword 4 - Twilight Seisouken

This sword can be found on the Level 5 - Breathe In in the form of collectible.

Sword 5 - Yama

This sword can be found on the Level 5 - Breathe In in the form of collectible.

Sword 6 - Kinteki Seisouken

This sword can be found on the Level 6 - Road to Amida in the form of collectible.

Sword 7 - Venom TsuruGR

This sword can be found on the Level 7 - Run Up in the form of collectible.

Sword 8 - Vintage Sentinel

This sword can be found on the Level 9 - Dharma City in the form of collectible.

Sword 9 - TsuruGR Nini-chan

This sword can be found on the Level 10 - Echoes in the form of collectible.

Sword 10 - Modified Carbon Yama

This sword can be found on the Level 10 - Echoes in the form of collectible.

Sword 11 - Izanami

This sword can be found on the Level 12 - In Her Own Image in the form of collectible.

This sword can be found on the Level 13 - The Forbidden Zone in the form of collectible.

This guide was meant to help players find a nice sword/glove and give them some basic information where to get them ... and I feel like I've succeeded in this.

This guide was NOT meant to be a collectible guide. There are plenty of guides like that already.
