Each of the sections can be beaten in different ways if you wish. The grappling hook, double jumps, or just dashing. Obviously dashing is easiest and necessary at times, but play around with different methods. Also make sure that if you're in a tight spot to distance your presses of the dash button, as mashing won't make you dash as fast as rhythmically doing it. Save time by just rushing through the enemy section so that you can get more attempts in. Lastly, repeated horizontal dashes will make you sink the height of one robot (you) per dash so that is useful to keep in mind. Ask me any questions and tips!
