Enter to save changes
Enter is also the pause button while in game

Set display to Fullscreen (it defaults to borderless which may lag)
Set desired FPS
Set game to display keyboard butons



When configuring keyboard controls, navigate to them with the keyboard. If you mouse over them, it may glitch and not allow you to scroll down to other buttons

If you get stuck on any password or name editing screens, where Q doesn't work, enter a blank entry then click enter. You should then be able to back out with Q

As of 4/30/21 They seem to be aware of this issue

PS. I recommend setting the Sound Effect volume down 3-4 notches. It tends to drown out the music, most notably on Stage 5

1.Start game
2.Pick a ship
3.Choose Homage Course

Even if you set everything to ultra, it will run at console levels of quality. To have all textures full and unrestricted

Go to: C:\Users\YourUserName\Saved Games\RTypeFinal2\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Edit Engine.ini and add the following

[consolevariables]
r.TextureStreaming=0
r.Streaming.PoolSize=0
