Vanilla Food Extension

Omschrijving
This is a mod consists of food recipes. Would you like to make chocolatechip cookies? Peanutbutter Sandwich? Cupcakes? Fries? Pizza? Or even canning your own produce? Make your own jerky? Ferment your own Wine? ...
Look no further! This mod offers recipes for most, if not all originally none craftable food items!
While creating this mod, I have treid to make nutritional value of the ingredients match with the final product to be best of my ability, and hunger dedection is also an important factor which I kept in mind. I have tried to apply common sense with my creation. Most of the recipes also have skill requirements added so it is not too OP, but still challenging and fun:)
You will be able to add this mod to your existing save files or any new saves. Since it only uses vanilla items it should not create problems for you. However a backup of your save file is always recommended. Please let me know if you have any suggestions/ideas for more recipes to add with vanilla ingredients!

Hi there, i absolutely love this mod!!!

Is there possibly any way that the Blueberry/Apple/Lemon Miringue/Pumpkin Pie recipes could use "Pie Dough" instead of "Pie Preparation" ??

At the moment, 4 slices of pie cost a whole baking pan. The recipe doesn't give you back the baking pan :( makes it an incredibly expensive recipe

Hey hey! Noticed the recipes for making sushi in bulk (the one that makes 10 at a time) consumes the pot used for the pot of rice part of the recipe. Is this intended or a bug?

Hi, can I make a light version cutting out recipes to have compatibility with other mods than overlap, and upload it? How I didn't find this thing early?

Hello @Ulrich,
Thank you! I just need to find the time to alter the existing recipes, as these are the old version from before the updates from game dev. Hopefully people playing on previous versions of the game can also use updated recipes without issue.
Please check out my Lone Wanderer's Saving Grace as well.
Happy Surviving!

Hello there! I have being looking for a mod that fills up vanilla niches and found this gem. Here are some suggestions for more vanilla friendly and mod compatible recipes:
Replace knives with [Recipe.GetItemTypes.SharpKnife];
Replace hammers with [Recipe.GetItemTypes.Hammer];
Replace eggs and wild eggs with [Recipe.GetItemTypes.Egg];
Replace spoon and fork with Spatula/[Recipe.GetItemTypes.Spoon]/[Recipe.GetItemTypes.Fork];
Some recipes like making tofu from dried beans and making berry jam can be shortened into a single recipe to avoid clutter.
Also I believe you can use OnCreate:Recipe.OnCreate.OpenCannedFood to get a jar back as by-product.

Is there a way to produce salt? As baking dough needs it :steamsalty:

With the update just now, it doesn't work as an error on our server. It's a problem on the dedicate, so I can't determine which mode it's a conflict with.:steamsad:

@Captain Battlekoch,
Yes they get used as containers as Sourdough Yeast is not the same as dried yeast. I can look into making dried yeast and add a recipe in. But sourdough yeast will be consuming the jars, as the game does not like when you get 2 items from 1 recipe.

You really need to add stuff where you get items back after preparing stuff, I mean you dont just lose two jars making yeast, it doesnt just disappear right?
