How To Do It
Ok So its really easy to do so heres how!

Ok so first go to the data base and make a new item called book or something like that.
Set it up to be usable in menus only and does not consume the item.


Then save it and go to common Events and make a new one called Book or something like that.
Then add the book text image etc.


Once you are done with that go back to the book item you created before and go to events and then to other and after that add the common event you made.

Tips & Ideas
You can use this has a low drop from a bandit to get a new quest follow my mission guide and just mix them.

You can have npcs give small bookletts/Maps of a town and tell you about some lore.

You can use it to track ingame events.

i feel like you could achieve a better looking "book" stuff, if you make a image that show the book page,and still wouldnt need scripts.

This seems cool, however, Scripting is a better idea! Helps people learn! There are 2 ways to make a Book! But I would recommend this as the easiest option! :D

@Bollehopp i haven't used rpg maker for a long time but you could have it pull up a dialog choice option to do chapters for longer books if you know what I mean. you don't wanna force people to read the whole book but per chapter would be better.

One minor note: consider setting the scope "none." rather than "one ally." That way it doesn't require the player to select a party member before calling the common event, saving the player a step. No way I'd expect you to re-make the giff a year+ later though :steamhappy:

Also you can show image instead of text message. That will be more realistic.
I already know hot to make a book, but I rated this up 'cuz of GIF image :)
