Overview
Status Effects are debuffs that are applied to you or your enemies. Some mobs/bosses are resistant some status effects.

There are three types of Status Effects:

  1. Crowd Control (CC)
Crowd-control status effects hinder enemy movement and attacks.Duration of some effects can be scaled by Status Power

  2. Damage Overtime (DoT)
DoTs deal damage over a short period. Can be scaled by Status and Anomaly Power

  3. Damage Altering (DA)
DA effects directly modify character/enemy attacks and defenses. Cannot be scaled up or mitigated (so far)

To clear the confusion, this guide talks about the status effects that the mods (tier 1,2,3) apply and not the mods themselves.

Ash | CC
  • A powerful Crowd Control Status effect
  • Applies ashfall on enemies and petrifies them, temporarily stopping their movements and attacks for 2.5 seconds.
  • Can be used as a temporary Interrupt.
  • Reduced Intensity on Bosses
  • Ash Duration scales with Status Power.
Freeze | CC
  • A powerful Crowd Control Status effect
  • Enemies are frozen, temporarily stopping their movements and attacks for 3.5 seconds.
  • Can be used as a temporary Interrupt.
  • Reduced Intensity on Bosses.
  • Freeze Duration scales with Status Power.
  • Using Melee attack while frozen breaks the effect
Slow | CC
  • A powerful Crowd Control Status effect
  • Applies a time-altering slow on enemies reducing movement and attack speed by 30-75% that depends on the slow resistance of enemy.
  • Reduced Intensity on Bosses
  • Unaffected by either Status or Anomaly power
Burn | DoT
  • A powerful Damage Overtime status effect that ignores armor.
  • Deals damage equal to 3.7% of your Anomaly Power every 0.5 seconds for 6 seconds

  • When affected by burn, roll to remove the burn
Bleed | DoT
  • A Damage Overtime status effect that ignores armor.
  • Only effective on moving targets.
  • Deals damage equal to 2.5% of your Anomaly Power every 0.5 seconds for 5 seconds
  • Scales with Status Power and Anomaly Power
  • When affected by bleed,Stop moving to reduce the damage taken
Toxic | DoT
  • A powerful Damage Overtime status effect that ignores armor.
  • Deals damage equal to 3.5% of your Anomaly Power every 0.5 seconds for 6 seconds
  • Scales with Status Power and Anomaly Power
  • When affected by toxic, use class-specific healing mechanic to remove it.
Vulnerable | DA
  • A powerful Damage Altering status effect.
  • Lowers the defenses and increases the damage received by 15% for 10 seconds from ALL sources.

XD I had no idea the bleeding effect only worked on moving targets. With more than 100h played (albeit mostly not with bleed builds xD) Great guide!

@Victor I can confirm 100% with some mates who were trying to build status power on their tricksters for the slow plus if you read the stats screen on "Status Power" Slow is not mentioned on it

@Revenant Sure can but I am not sure if the duration of slow scales with status power. Can you confirm that the duration doesn't increase with status power? If so, i will add it in.
Revenant 2021 年 4 月 17 日 下午 5:29
Hey @Victor can you add a note on slow that states "Status Power does not affect the effectiveness of this Status"?
Revenant 2021 年 4 月 17 日 下午 5:22
@Lister technically it doesnt matter whether or not its multiplicative or additive because your definition of additive is flawed because 15% is the base value the next modifier "added/multiplied" to it would immediately be multiplied the issue is when you get the second vulnerability effectiveness increase as to whether THAT is a multiplicative value or not. To shorten it up the first modifier applied to a base value of any item is always multiplicative.
