This guide will entail the fastest ways to finish the diamond store all loot with 2,3 and 4 players. Unfortunately, diamond store cannot be solo ECM rushed as there are too many bags to move. I will be covering the basics like how to secure, what to loot and what roles are there and will give in-depth information like spawns points for the manager and the alarm/keycard box. This rush is an all-bag rush (so instead of going for the required 14 bags, we get all 18 bags in the store).

I am infamy 73 (at the time of writing) and have done this diamond store ECM rush about 1500 times now. I have played with legit (No crime spree or cheats) infamy 300's and 400's and so not only do I have a lot of experience doing this rush but I also play with the best.

The heist when grinded will be at -30% xp (as you will be doing it a lot) so thats why its 800k xp/min and not 1.1mill xp/min.

There are 4 roles you should remember and this guide will detail what each person does:
- The keycard man (Used in 2,3 and 4 player ECM rushes)
- The security guy (Used in 2,3 and 4 player ECM rushes)
- Securer A (Used in 3 and 4 player ECM rushes)
- Securer B (Used in 4 player ECM rushes)

There are some ECM rushes like require hacker pocket ecms however this heist is so fast these are not required (However for some roles you will be running hacker). This ECM rush will be using lobby order (Green > Blue > Red > Yellow) as is with most ECM rushes

Before the keycard is put in the box by the Keycard Man, most glass is alarmed so try to avoid shooting glass as much as possible. However, there is some non-alarmed glass as I will show in this clip:

Your job as the keycard man will be to kill the manager (Hostaging wastes time), take the keycard and put the keycard into the alarm/keycard box to disable the alarm. You will then start to BAG jewellery (the loose jewellery will not give xp so don't pick it up on purpose).

As the security guy, your job will be to saw open the security door, kill the guard (without him shooting the alarmed glass) and say 's' in chat if the alarm/security box is there. You will then BAG jewellery (the loose jewellery does not make xp) and throw it out the front of the store.

Your job as Securer A will be to eliminate the guards in the shop, grab a jewellery bag and start securing as the Keycard Man and the Security Guy are bagging. You will have to keep second wind always on giving everyone in your team and yourself a speed increase. This second wind does not have to be perfect but it is important it is done a majority.

As Securer A, DO NOT pick up bags you miss the van with as this will break the constant second wind cycle.

Securer B's job is to be a second securer, a very similar role to Securer A except for the fact they don't do sw (second wind) and run yakuza. They burn themselves to under 20% health with a molotov, grab 1 bag of jewellery and secure the bags the Keycard Man and the Security Guy will be throwing out the shop. This role is really fun as you get so much speed (almost the most in the game). You should however be cautious of guards as they will 2 shot you if not killed. Hopefully the other 3 people in the team that will be killing guards will have killed all of them so they cant shoot you.

You will have a Keycard Man and a Security Guy but no securers, be cautious and try to clear guards while doing your tasks eg. Keycard Man kills guards in the hallways instead of running past them.

No gameplay clip using this build but I will say the shaped charges are used for blowing up the security door, to use the shaped charges in stealth you have to double click 'F' instead of single click like in loud. (That might be a wolfhud thing tho so don't quote me on this)

Okay so most important things first, good internet and in-depth knowledge of the rush. Read the full guide over and have many diamond store runs played with players that are better than you. Watch how they move ect in case I've missed stuff. Essentially, GET GUD!

Be patient and know English (or your preferred language) well. You may need to explain key concepts to the unenlightened folk of the community. Key phrases I (used) to use are:
'When you see [Insert the keycard man] lose the kc is when the alarm is off"
"[Player] You bag/secure"
"[Player] Ignore civs"

My usual (and a bit fussy) system is if they don't have a HUD don't allow them in the lobby, HUD's are not a cheat as how it makes the game easier it doesn't give the player any extra ability over a vanilla player. One day I will upload a recording of me in a 4 man lobby doing the big bank ECM rush in vanilla to prove it can be done. If payday 2 was a pvp competitive game making the game easier of course would be a cheat however payday 2 is not a pvp competitive game (or competitive at all imo).

You will need at least 2 players who know what they are doing to guarantee a working lobby, always check ecms other people place are maxed (level 3 for wolfhud).

Terminate when the heist ends, it speeds up xp gain massively. To be safe, I usually terminate when it starts counting the money made however if you don't care about being safe like syrio florel (highest legit infamy in the game) TAS that terminate button. I usually have the terminate button ready before the 'escape lines' are said.

When hosting I usually do the securer A and kc man roles as is only adds a couple seconds and lets me hard carry the lobby more effectively :).

Seconds count. A 4 player diamond store lobby can range from less than a minute to 1 minute 30 seconds. Even in a 1 minute 30 lobby each second is larger than 1% of xp. This means 10 seconds extra per round is an 11% decrease in xp/min. This on-top of the -30% you will inevitably get means xp can lower. In simpler terms, BE FAST!

Adaptation is important, when grinding diamond store for multiple hours people will leave, rejoin, replace ect and this will often happen mid-game so it is important that people adapt quickly to the ever-changing nature of the lobby. This can only come from experience but just remember what roles need to be filled at any one time. 2 player? no secure. 3 player? 1 secure. 1 player? YOU'RE ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Having a consistent crew/group of people to rush with is important, these can be done with steam group chats, discords or just having friends that play the game. As is in the clips, don't secure by throwing bags closer to the van but rather walking up to the van and throwing them into it directly. This is because there is a cooldown between when you throw a bag and when you can pick one up again.

Most of the time there won't be a yakuza 2nd secure and how it is faster most of the time people just run hacker and have 2 hacker securers.

Doing diamond store gets boring FAST, listen to music, talk to a friend, watch youtube. Whatever, just saying its fun for the first few infamies but will get old fast afterwards.

It takes 30 diamond stores to infamy when infamy 25+.

Dealing with players with bad internet/ slow computers can be annoying. What I usually do if they aren't the security guy is force start the game (spam ready and unready fast) and they will load mid game decreasing wait time substantially. This is also another reason adaptation is important.

The securer A can do 1 other role too, for example a Securer A can also be a Keycard Guy.

Putting stamina on bot loadout 1 is useful for 3/2 player runs. This is so you don't run out of stamina when securing.

When kc man loses keycard is when alarm is off.

It is best if a level 0 player is a bagger rather than a securer because of the decrease in speed.

ECM rushing is a playstyle that I greatly enjoy on heists I haven't done 1500 TIMES so try out some other ones too because not only is it fun its also very rewarding. Cook Off EAT MY DUST!
