The mod has been continued with Strategic Resource Upgrades - Reworked

Strategic Resource Upgrades aims to provide a seamless extension to the strategic resource collection buildings.

The base game forces you to waste a frustrating amount of building slots on single tier resource collection buildings. This mod adds a building chain for exotic gases, volatile motes and rare crystals. Furthermore, the mod has multiple tier 3 buildings available for some extra spice.

Expanded Stellaris Traditions IS OPTIONAL. You will not be able to unlock the academy and industry tradition buildings if you do not have the tradition mod installed.

If this mod gains some popularity, I will develop the mod further with more possibilities. Please let me know if you encounter any issues. I'm also open to any suggestions on balancing or features.

Also, if you'd like to add your own localisation, please comment a link to a pastebin for it and I'll add it to the mod.

@Trein05 you're very welcome to fork the repo and release the mod as your own. I no longer play Stellaris so I don't have the ability to update it myself. The repository is at https://github.com/Zei33/stellaris_strategic_resource_upgrades/tree/main and uses the GPLv3 license. That means when you distribute it, you must also include the GPLv3 license (so just fork the repo and leave as is). It must be kept open source and freely available, and any future forks from one of your users must also maintain the same license and so on. Thanks! Good luck.

Are there any plans to update it? If not, would I have permission to update and re-release it for the current version?

@abo998 this mod is outdated and not compatible with the current version of the game. It targets v3.0.1. Please do not use it because it will cause problems with any structure it interacts with.
