That's going to happen if you're running the game internally at less than 4K which is what this mod is designed to do in order to improve framerates. It's already optimised to make textures as crisp as possible within the limits of the internal resolution it's running.
The alternative for detailed textures is to not use the mod and just run the game at a lower resolution with the Ultra preset. That will drop many graphics cards down to 1080p if 60FPS+ is a requirement which will look significantly worse anyway on a 4K monitor.
It's all about compromises unless you have the hardware to run the game at native 4K in Ultra. If you do have the horsepower then there's very little to be gained from running this mod.
